Testimonials
‘Singing lessons with Rachel have been food for my soul! She is an incredible singing teacher and I can’t imagine going to anyone else now. Her positivity, sense of humour and upbeat spirit keep the lessons fun. Even after the very first lesson I noticed a dramatic improvement in my confidence to sing in front of others, and my voice felt like it had opened up. I was nervous before that first one, but I came home with a constant smile on my face and excited for the next. I feel my confidence and sound has continued to improve and I just feel so happy and full of life after each session. I always look forward to them. I’ve recommended Rachel to my friends and will continue to recommend her to others.‘ – Emily
‘I’ve been a professional musician for 20 years. Yet, Rachel was immediately able to share new techniques to improve my performance for my current recording work in real time. She’s given me more confidence in my voice and clearly understands how to place it within the body, connect it with the breath and bring out of her students the power of their tone and pitch. She’s lovely to work with and there is measurable improvement after every session.’ – Michael Scott Parker
‘I started having singing lessons with Rachel around 11 months ago. I genuinely believed I couldn’t sing and wouldn’t be able to learn, however I wanted to give it a go. I’m glad I chose Rachel as she has proven me wrong, she has made me feel at ease and really taken me on a journey to learn to sing (better). I would recommend learning to sing to anyone and would recommend Rachel, she is a great teacher and can help find a voice in any body, I’m sure.‘ – Matthew
‘I am very glad we found Rachel, her energy and professionalism has been like day and night compared to previous singing teachers. Her wide experience enables her to get the best out of her students. Instilling confidence and self belief. Going to singing lessons with Rachel is what my daughter now looks forward to, she practices on her own. I can not recommend Rachel enough, we are so lucky to have found her.‘ – Chantel
‘I started Rachel’s classes as a complete beginner. My confidence has grown with Rachel’s tutoring! I find her very supportive and encouraging, and I can hear my progress with each session – really glad I took the plunge and started lessons.’ – Emma
‘Rachel has taught my 14 year old daughter and 10 year old son for the last 6 months, holding virtual lessons during lockdown. Despite not being able to do face-to-face, Rachel has been really engaging and delivered fun lessons. She has tailored the lessons brilliantly to suit my children’s abilities and makes sure that they are challenged to develop technically. They have tried a range of styles and are encouraged to explore their own musical interests and to try new things too. I would definitely recommend Rachel as a singing teacher.’ – Martha
‘Emilia has really enjoyed developing her singing with Rachel. She has learnt so much – about posture and breathing, and enjoyed learning fun vocal warm ups and mastering tongue twisters! She’s loved working on a range of songs which Rachel has helped her explore and perform. Emilia looks forward to every lesson!‘ – Jane
‘I have had quite a few lessons with Rachel. From day 1 she was very supportive and a great teacher. In a short time I made a lot of progress. What I like most is her enthusiasm. She really wants to help you become a better singer. Her style is a great combination of the support, professionalism, flexibility and positivity. She really helped me find confidence in singing. I can really recommend Rachel to anyone needing a good supportive singing teacher.‘ – Vincent
‘I recently had a few singing lessons with Rachel and I’ve really loved them! Our lessons were taught remotely which I think worked really well and allowed me to fit it into my busy schedule. She’s taught me various vocal exercises to strengthen my voice and she has really helped me to sing with confidence. I’m looking forward to the autumn term when I can hopefully start up our lessons again.’ – Katherine
